This week we discovered a new skill that is "metal- bending". What's that got to do with the price of cheese we hear you ask? well, the metal we've been sculpting is actually custom stands for our stage set-up which is coming along nicely if we do say so ourselves, even if we do have sell a few kidneys to fund it.

We had to do a bit of grinding which was pretty intense, reminded us of that lady on Britains Got Talent that used a huge grinder on her metal thongs and other people's crotches, how did she discovery that talent?...

Next, maybe some welding?! we feel like Jennifer Beals in Flashdance (minus the legwarmers), metal work during the day and music at night.

We watched "Rosemary's Baby" last night, anyone seen it? pretty good at keeping you in suspense but the end was a major disappointment... why do you never get to see the baby!? tight... unlike "Demon Seed" which is genius.

Hey,

so the Q&A's are over... single tear... but we're gonna try and do some other types of videos for VVTV so we'll keep you updated on progress.

We've been crazy busy this week as we've been finishing off another demo track and also getting to understand lots of new equipment for playing live... which we're so excited about. Hopefully it won't be too long now so we're getting ourselves practiced and thinking about visuals... fun :)

It's been the last week of our Art Disco summer sale as well, which added to the hecticness but to cheer us on (and because he just found it at a flea market) Lucy's brother Crispin gave us a Boglin...

...this one talks and burps, it's like an evil furby.

NINJAS AND SKI-DOOS

Hey,

so this week was pretty genius for us as we went to see Nine Inch Nails play in Manchester. We got right to the front- on the rail, here's a pic of us trying to show the rail... a bit shaky but there was a Malcolm meatball head pushing us.

Anyway, it was an awesome show and apart from being bashed by a couple of hairy rocker fans we managed to keep our place for the entire gig and we even got a couple of pics/ videos.

As well as that we have also put up the 3rd episode of VVTV. This weeks questions were sent in by Krudd and Mike... thanks guys! we've popped you in our top friends for the week.

IT TAKES TWO BABY

Hey everyone,

Happy Independence Day to our American buddies...

We had Maple syrup and pancakes this morning to honor the day...although we have that most mornings, it was nice to have an excuse. Wait, isn't Maple syrup Canadian? Nevermind, it's the thought that counts.

(This is the most Patriotic thing we've ever seen...)

Ok, we've started a new idea on our Youtube page. Basically each week we'll choose 2 questions to answer within 2 minutes from the questions you've sent in.
You can ask us serious or silly questions and we'll pick our 2 faves to answer and post up on our YouTube weekly.

We'll put the name of the person who sent in the question in the video and if they give us there myspace url then they will be in our top friends on our myspace page for that following week.

CURSE POPS IT'S KERRANG! CHERRY

Hey,

Sorry we've been a bit off the radar of late... we've been out of town recording and we've just begun making plans for live.

Although we haven't been very good at keeping up with our regular blogs, we have been keeping a video diary which we will start posting up in mini video form soon... a bit like a Tweet but as a video.. Would you call that a Veet? No! Veet is a bikini hair removal product, so let's scrap that pearl of wisdom...

Speaking of Veet check out this advert we found:

I wonder who thought of positioning the two women in the background to look like pubic hair? Genius. Also, can you imagine the casting for two women with head hair like pubes... that's one advert they can keep for their scrap book.

Anyway, where were we? Oh yes, our track 'Curse is going to get it's radio debut tomorrow (Sunday) on Kerrang! Radio. Fearless has been a regular on that station so now it's time for it's blippy brother to get some lime light. DON'T STOP TILL YOUR CLOTHES GET WET

We're been giving our clothing website Art Disco an extreme make over (with no help from Ty 'so annoying we want to gauge our eyes out' Pennington).

Whilst working late into the night revamping were been motivated by listening to Grace Jones's cover of 'Warm Leatherette'. Like all the best things in life... (horror movies, roller coasters, Michael Jackson) she scares the shit out of us but is totally genius at the same time.

(Tastes like chicken)

We wanted to post a video of Grace but UK Youtube is has disabled most of its music videos :( ... so instead here's one of our favourite TV gold moments that makes our ribs hurt every time we watch it....

When I was growing up my older brothers used to tell me about all these rock concerts they used to sneak into at Roundhay Park (Leeds). They had found a tunnel on the outside of the park which came out inside of the concert perimeters.

They saw loads of people there... but the main gig they saw was Michael Jackson's Bad Tour.

I can't tell you how jealous I am of that.! We just watched some old footage of Michael performing Thriller live. It makes me smokey eyed because he was so damn cool...the glow in the dark bit is too genius for words...

BBC 6 MUSIC EASTER TREAT

Happy Easter everyone.

We hope that no-one ate Jesus yesterday and you all stuck to your fish and hot cross buns!

We have some great news for Easter, we're going to be on Tom Robinson's BBC Introducing show 'Fresh on the Net' this monday (13th April). Better than an Easter egg any-day :)

You can tune into BBC 6 Music on Monday from 1am - 3am, but if you're not a night owl you can listen back just click on the badge to go to Tom's BBC page...

We're also going to be played on Kerrang! again on Sunday, right at the beginning of the show, so be sure to tune in to that too.

We hope everyone has a good Easter weekend, we're off to do some egg hunts.

We've had our first feature in hard print, and it's a half page feature in ELLEgirl magazine Korea. We're honoured to be featured and as it's our first print it makes it that extra bit more special.

It's written in Korean but we think it just says our influences,etc as the only english is 'N.E.R.D' :)

DOUBLE TROUBLE

It's double trouble Video Villain style this weekend as we're being played on both BBC Radio York on Saturday and Kerrang! TABLE DANCING

Well we made it back safe and sound through the freak hail storms, thank you to everyone that tuned in. We've had a really great response and loads of nice messages which we really appreciate, as we do admit, we were a little nervous at first.

(we accidentally took home the pass we were meant to give in... how punk rock of us NOT!)

We didn't get in last night till about 3am, but we tried to get up pretty early to get a good day in. That plan seemed good at the time and we soon found ourselves watching daytime tv, unable to get going. If it wasn't for this though, we wouldn't have been able to witness the tv gold that is Ellen Degeneres' personal kind of table dancing. Coffee table dancing that is.

It was such a great little nugget of tv gold that we decided to make a 'mash-up' of her best dance moves along to our song Fearless.

BUTTHEAD

Just a quick one to let everyone know we're going to be on BBC Radio Manchester this Sunday on the "Introducing… with Sam Walker" show. We're being interviewed and then they're going to play one of our tracks.

It's our first Radio Interview, and we'll be popping into the studio to do it so we'll try get a pic when we're there.

We'll be on at about 11:40pm so if you're a night owl then be sure to tune in. You can listen online HERE or if you live in or near Manchester you can tune into channel 11C on DAB, and it also broadcasts on 95.1 and 104.6 FM.

Watching the re-runs of Hartbeat made our childhood complete.

We'll miss you (not Morph though, he sucked).

Thank god we still have Neil Buchanan and Art Attack.

A while back we were talking about getting tattoo's (we'd been watching too much Miami Ink again) but then we realised the best tattoo ever had alrady been taken...

that reminded us of this little nugget we found...

Her eyebrows are scarier than the pumpkin! Why was that farmer so obsessed with making pumpkins in the shape of a face's anyway? Maybe she lost her eyebrows when he made the aluminium mask of her entire face...surely that involves heat/ a hammer?! Pervy.

We bought some old synths from eBay the other week and got them for a really good price...or so we thought. We didn't read the listing very carefully and failed to see that they were 'collection only' and that they were in the Highlands of SCOTLAND!

We decided to make a road trip of it, so we stocked up on Uncle Joe's mint balls and hit the road.

We got there and back in a day and felt pretty smug with our selves...until the next morning when we went to start the car and it started smoking like a time bomb. The engine was officially fried!

Not so much of a bargain then as it's costing us big bucks to fix.

Note to self, read the listings next time and don't be a smug bugger when you get a bargain because the karma police will get you!

Talking of synths...Modernaire (the synth wizard) has just done an awesome remix of 'Low' for us. It makes us want to punch the air with joy. Modernaire, we salute you.
